Hi. Welcome in. Take a seat. I guess you’re probably sitting already. Unless you’re looking at this site on a phone, in which case all bets are off. You know what? I should probably start over.

I’m Dan McCoy. I’m a writer. I’ve won two Emmys, a Peabody, and an NAACP Image award for my TV writing, so I’m only an Oscar and a Young Magician of the Year award away from having a PEONY.

I’m also a podcaster. I created and co-host “The Flop House,” a podcast about bad movies, which is popular enough to be called “popular,” but not popular enough for the NY Times to claim we invented podcasting.

Sometimes I have a job, but also sometimes I don’t. This website is mostly for those latter times, in case someone wants to hire me. But don’t worry. If you’re just here to look around, I won’t have you arrested for loitering.
